So now I'm working on a new writing project. And I'm really torn between two thoughts: Fast vs Slow. If I go fast I will get more of the stories out but if they are undercooked then potentially they will fall flat. #amwriting #scifi #amwritingscifi pic.twitter.com/uKPh0m2V0u

If I develop them over some time then when they are released perhaps they will satisfy. Some combination of the two schools of thought is optimum, but on the slow side, I am thinking of backstories for all principle players, told in short stories posted free on Wattpad.

I feel like this will make the characters more whole and feel more genuine to the reader when they do encounter them in the main story, minus the info in their background, except maybe through subtext. But again, that is not an notion built for speed. Writer's problems, right?
